Our Social Channels
Here at Cultural Care, we have both central social media channels and local social media channels, as well as a Kids First Instagram. Our central channels function as the 'home' of our social media, and are curated with content that appeals to both host families and au pairs.
Our central channels include:
Instagram: @culturalcare
Facebook: Cultural Care
TikTok: @culturalcare
YouTube: Cultural Care Au Pair
LinkedIn: Cultural Care Au Pair
Kids First Instagram: @culturalcarekidsfirst
Our local social media channels are run by local market staff members. They are usually in local language, and focus on au pair recruitment. Most of our markets have their own Instagram channels (for example, South Africa @culturalcareza, or Brazil @culturalcarebr). A few of the markets have their own TikTok channels as well.
We also have a blog!
Host Family Blog here.
Au Pair Blog (Candy Picnic ) here.
Blog articles focus on resources for current participants, storytelling, or sales. They are sometimes translated into local language for our markets.
Our social media content philosophy
We want to appeal to both host families and au pairs.
We do a lot of storytelling, aiming to show a real life view of the program.
We want to show ALL aspects of the program, not just au pairs having fun. This includes content such as au pairs and host family stories, life as an au pair, program basics, FAQ, testimonials, childcare, and takeovers.
Takeovers are a big part of our central channels. This is when an au pair 'takes over' the Instagram account and posts from their point of view, showing an authentic customer experience- especially in an era where social users distrust brands.
