Host families will enter this journey 7 months prior to their au pair’s legal departure date if they are currently hosting an au pair and their renewal opportunity stage is “prospecting.” The host families will be split into two groups: those whose au pair is eligible to extend and those whose au pair is not eligible to extend. Each group will receive 5 emails. They will exit this flow when their opportunity stage is set to “matching.”

The goal of this journey is to encourage host families to either extend with their current au pair (if eligible) or welcome a new au pair. For families eligible to extend, the emails first encourage them to extend with their current au pair but also provide the option to start the process of renewing and finding a new au pair. For those not eligible to extend, the emails focus on the process of renewing and finding a new au pair. Both versions of the email promote the early matching bonus they are eligible for, as well as the date by which they need to match to take advantage of the offer.

For host families currently hosting an au pair that have a renewal opportunity in the “prospecting” stage, they will start receiving renewal emails 7 months prior to their au pair’s legal departure date. There are 5 emails in this flow. If they are eligible to extend with their au pair, they will receive one version of the email, while those not eligible to extend will receive a different version. Once their renewal opportunity’s stage is set to “matching,” they will exit this journey.
